I truly believe that the best way to promote literacy is to model literacy.

Have you ever logged on to google or another search engine in search of something "just right" and finding yourself frustrated because you can't find what you are looking for?
Are you frustrated with finally finding something online you could use and then discovering you have to pay to use it?
I created this LJ for several reasons. To be completely honest, my first goal was to simply use it as a personal resource. But what good is a resource if you can't share it?
You're probably thinking to yourself, "..then why is this journal friends only if the goal was to share?" The answer is simple: I really want to know who is using my journal as a resource. If you add me as a friend and see there is not much information that is of use to you, then feel free to delete me.
This LJ is a work in progress. I plan on posting links, book reviews, book recommendations, funny comics, pictures, activities, lesson ideas and so much more.
On that note, please understand that I teach high school language arts in the resource room - I have a variety of resources at ALL levels. If there is something in particular that you are looking for, simply send me a message and I'll see if I can be of help to you.
